Ideal for grades 4-8, students will learn about how levers can be used to more effectively apply force. The focus of the lesson is on how an atlatl was made using a unique lever invented by the Aztecs thousands of years ago!
This tool was used to make the Aztecs’ lives easier. Once students have explored and understood how the lever works, they will design their own game that will make use of this simple machine.
