Body Systems

Ideal for grade 6-10, this lesson is designed for students to learn about the structural organization of a body system, from the cellular level, to tissues, to organs, to organ systems, and to organisms. Students will make a museum diorama about the different levels of organization in a human body system (circulatory or respiratory system). This lesson also includes some content about plant cells.

After completing this design challenge, students will understand:

• body systems and how they are structured; specifically the circulatory and respiratory system
